DNNR ("we," "us," or "the app") helps you decide what to eat — whether that's cooking at home or finding a restaurant nearby. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We keep it simple: we collect only what the app needs to work, we don't sell your personal information, and we don't show ads.
Account information. When you create an account with email and password, or use Sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (if you use Apple's "Hide My Email," we receive the private relay address Apple provides). We use this to create and secure your account.
Location. If you grant location permission, the app uses your device's location to find restaurants near you. Your coordinates are sent to our server solely to perform the restaurant search. You can decline or revoke location access at any time in your device settings; the eat-out features will simply be unavailable without it.
Preferences and activity. Food and dietary preferences, nutrition goals, favorites, saved recipes, decision history, and hidden restaurants are stored with your account so the app can personalize your experience across devices.
Purchase information. If you subscribe to DNNR Premium, the payment is processed entirely by Apple (or Google Play on Android). We never see or store your payment card details. Our subscription partner, RevenueCat, processes purchase receipts and anonymous device identifiers to verify and manage your subscription status.
Push notifications. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can send you meal reminders and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your device settings.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
The app relies on a small number of service providers to work. Data is shared with them only as needed to provide the feature you're using:
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also email us at the address below and we will delete your data for you.
Session credentials are stored on your device using the operating system's secure storage. Data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.
DNNR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
